Biography

Eun-Hwa Choi served as co-managing partner of FirstLaw and led the firm’s Chemical/Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences Group before taking on her role as Of Counsel. She effectively served as a bridge between the Korean and international IP regimes for over thirty years.

Ms. Choi brings expertise and diversity to her IP practice, having first worked as a research scientist in genetic engineering and later passing the New York Bar to become a registered U.S. attorney-at-law. Her practice focuses on procuring and enforcing patent rights, particularly in the chemical and bio fields, while providing her unique insight accumulated from decades of experience.

Ms. Choi has long been an active member in both domestic and international organizations, and served as a member of the KIPO’s Dispute Mediation Committee on Intellectual Property Rights.
