The Firm is established in 1988 as Min, Sohn & Kim
in the landmark Kukdong Building in downtown Seoul.
The Firm changes its name to First Law Offices of Korea.
The Firm expands and relocates from downtown
Seoul to the Dongwon Building in the Gangnam area,
being considerably closer to the KIPO’s Seoul branch.
The Firm moves from the Dongwon Building to
the adjacent Trust Tower (since renamed Dongwon
F&B Building), where the Firm is presently located.
The Firm sponsors the first Annual Concert, with
an open invitation to members, family, friends,
and clients of the Firm.
The Firm establishes a strategic partnership with
Lee & Ko, renaming to FirstLaw Lee & Ko.
The Firm dissolves its strategic partnership with
Lee & Ko and solidifies incorporation with a name change to FirstLaw P.C.
The Firm establishes its litigation group,
FirstLaw International, consisting of experienced litigators with technical backgrounds.
The Firm celebrates its 30th anniversary with festivities
highlighting the past, present, and future of FirstLaw P.C.
The Firm unveils a new logo, symbolizing
the transition to the next 30 years of FIRSTLAW P.C.
Office renovations are completed, updating the interior
design to reflect the new logo and optimize space for the diverse needs of our practice and culture.
After a hiatus due to the pandemic, the Firm resumes
its celebration of music with a new series of private concerts.
