Min Sakong is a partner and leader of the firm’s domestic division of the Mechanical and Electrical/Computer/IT Group. As a former engineer, Mr. Sakong comfortably handles both established and up-and-coming technologies, including electronics, communications, networks, artificial intelligence, and medical devices.
Mr. Sakong spent a significant portion of his career representing the firm’s Japanese clients and assisting in all stages of their global prosecution strategy, before focusing his practice on securing, maintaining, and enforcing the IP interests of domestic clients. His expertise allows him to manage the patent portfolios of our domestic clients, ranging from corporations to research institutes, hospitals, and start-ups.
He has extensive experience in infringement and invalidity analysis, IP portfolio strategy and management, patent mapping, and disputes before the Board of Trials, allowing him to provide our clients solutions for just about any IP issue.
