Biography

Won Sang Lee is a partner and co-leader of the firm’s Chemical/Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences Group. Mr. Lee has significant experience overseeing matters in every technical field related to his practice group, with particular focus on IP disputes occurring in the US, Europe, and Japan.

Mr. Lee utilizes his experience gained from spending several years at a top IP boutique firm in Washington, D.C. to formulate client-specific strategies and provide optimized services to bring about optimized results. A registered Korean patent attorney and a U.S. attorney-at-law, Mr. Lee brings an added perspective to the services he provides to his clients, particularly in prosecution, enforcement, litigation, and opinion work.

Mr. Lee is a frequent lecturer both domestically and in the U.S. on Korean IP issues, speaking at conferences and seminars held by various legal and industry associations around the world. He also provides the firm’s clients with industry updates based on his analysis of recent IP decisions from around the world.
