Biography

Cheon Young Kim is a patent attorney in the firm’s Chemical/Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences Group.

Mr. Kim has experience representing major domestic corporations in a variety of intellectual property matters. He currently focuses on providing IP services to our domestic clients, including corporations, universities and research institutes, in the fields of chemical and biochemical technologies. His practice also encompasses all phases of patent prosecution, as well as prior art searches, infringement and validity analysis, and client counseling.

His chemical engineering background covers a broad spectrum of complex technologies, most notably in the fields of organic materials, inorganic materials, polymers, secondary batteries, process systems.
